GPS TRACKING

After downloading the GeoCoupons^TM app, among other things the user will be asked:

1. If they will “Allow” the app to track their GPS location while using the app,
   
2. If they will “Allow” the app to track their GPS location even when not using the app,
   

We encourage all users to Always Allow the app to track their GPS location (for both scenarios). GPS tracking is used to:

1. Display which merchants are within a 50 mile radius of their current location (based on GPS),
   
2. Send “Geo Alerts” to users when they are in close proximity to merchant locations where they have a valid coupon,
   
3. Give users GeoPoints for redeeming coupons (no points are given if their GPS is turned off – as we cannot verify there location),
   
4. Give users Loyalty Points for redeeming coupons (for participating merchants).

GPS vs ZIP CODE

During onboarding, the user is also prompted to enter their Zip Code. The system displays nearby merchants as follows:

1. GPS Location – If GPS tracking is ON, the app will use their GPS location to display merchants within a 50-mile radius of their current location.
   
2. Zip Code – If GPS tracking is OFF, the app will use the Zip Code entered to display merchants within a 50-mile radius of that Zip Code.

CHANGING ZIP CODES

In order to show merchants coupons that exist in other areas, you must:

1. Turn OFF the GPS – To turn off GPS:
   
   1. Click the arrow icon in the header,
   2. Go to your Settings,
         
   3. Click on Locations
      
   4. Turn off the permissions
      
   5. 
      
2. Change the Zip Code – To change the Zip Code:
   
   1. Go to the menu
      
   2. Click on My Account > Zip Code
      
   3. Enter the desired Zip Code
      
   4. Click “Update Zip Code”

IMPORTANT ZIP CODES

Here are some Zip Codes you can use to view merchants in those areas (and show them to merchants near you):

• 95624 – Sacramento, CA
• 89433 – Reno, NV
• 93901 – Salinas, CA
